WEBFLOW TO FRAMER

Webflow to Framer migration, with your CMS and your rankings intact

Plenor moves Webflow sites to Framer in 3 to 5 weeks, from $3,500, with every CMS collection exported and every old URL mapped before the switch. One designer does the work, an Official Framer Expert, and your marketing team edits the new site without a developer from launch day.

Why teams move from Webflow to Framer

Webflow is a capable builder. It is also built like a developer tool: classes, combo classes, a box model, and an editing mode that lets your team change text but rarely a layout. That is why most Webflow sites end up needing the person who built them.

Framer works like a design tool. Your marketing lead can duplicate a section, change a layout and publish without breaking a class somewhere else on the site. Design and build happen in the same file, so a change ships in hours, not in the next sprint.

If your Webflow site works and your team edits it happily, stay where you are. We say that on the first call too.

What moves from Webflow to Framer, and how

  • Pages. Rebuilt in Framer on a page system, every breakpoint. Nothing is copied across as code. We rebuild it faithfully or redesign it on the way, your call.

  • CMS collections. Each Webflow collection exports to CSV and imports into a Framer CMS collection, with fields mapped one to one: rich text, images, references, dates.

  • Collection URLs. Framer CMS pages can keep the same pattern, so /blog/your-post stays /blog/your-post and most collection URLs never need a redirect.

  • Interactions. Webflow interactions do not export. We rebuild the ones that earn their place with Framer’s effects, usually lighter and faster.

  • Forms. Framer forms, or HubSpot, Tally and similar embeds, wired to the same inbox or CRM you use today.

  • Custom code and embeds. Carried over as embeds or Framer code components.

  • Redirects you already have. The 301 list in your Webflow settings comes across into Framer’s redirect settings, so old fixes keep working.

  • SEO settings. Titles, descriptions and social images carried page by page, then improved where they were thin.

What does not move to Framer, and what to do instead

  • Webflow Ecommerce. Framer is not a store. Keep the shop on Shopify or on a subdomain and link to it.

  • Logged-in areas. Use Memberstack or Outseta on top of Framer.

  • Logic and automations. Zapier or Make, triggered from Framer forms.

  • Very large CMS libraries. Framer’s CMS is comfortable into the hundreds of items. Past that, move the marketing pages first and leave the rest on the old host behind a proxy until you are ready.

How Plenor runs a Webflow migration, in six steps

01

Audit and URL inventory (days 1 to 3)

Crawl the Webflow site, export Search Console, list every indexed URL, every collection and every redirect already in place.

02

CMS export and map (days 3 to 5)

Export each collection to CSV, map its fields to a Framer collection, and agree what merges or retires.

03

Rebuild in Framer (weeks 1 to 3)

Design system first, then pages. You see the homepage direction within the first week. Feedback goes back and forth in Slack.

04

Redirects and technical SEO (week 3 or 4)

Titles, descriptions, canonicals, sitemap, schema and the full 301 map, tested on the staging URL before launch.

05

DNS and cutover (launch day)

The domain moves from Webflow hosting to Framer with you on a call. The Webflow site stays live until the new one is verified.

06

The 30-day watch

Search Console, broken links and crawl errors, fixed as they appear and included in the price.

What a Webflow to Framer migration costs

Same fixed tiers as every Plenor migration, quoted once before we start:

  • Up to 5 pages: $3,500, 3 weeks

  • Up to 8 pages: $4,500, 4 weeks

  • Up to 12 pages: $6,000, 5 weeks

CMS migration, URL mapping, 301 redirects and the DNS move are in every tier. An extra page is $650, and blog posts beyond the first 20 are $300 per 20. The full tier comparison is on the Framer migration page, and every other Plenor price is on what a Framer website costs.

Plenor migrations so far

Our published migrations are WordPress to Framer: AceUp, a $22.5M Series A coaching platform, and Zero Longevity, where the marketing pages run on Framer and the blog stayed on WordPress behind a proxy. Plenor designed and built both Framer sites. The process for Webflow is the same; only the export step differs. The first Webflow migration we publish becomes the next case study.

Questions before moving from Webflow to Framer

Will we lose our Google rankings moving from Webflow to Framer?

Not if the redirects are done. Every indexed URL gets a 301 to its new home before DNS changes, CMS pages keep their URL pattern where possible, and we watch Search Console for 30 days after launch. Rankings usually wobble for one to two weeks while Google recrawls, then settle.

Can you move our Webflow CMS to Framer?

Yes. Each collection exports from Webflow as a CSV and imports into a Framer CMS collection, with fields mapped one to one. Images move to Framer’s hosting and references between collections are rebuilt.

Do Webflow interactions carry over?

No. Webflow interactions do not export to any other tool. We rebuild the ones worth keeping with Framer’s effects, which is usually the moment to cut the ones that only slowed the page down.

How long does a Webflow to Framer migration take?

Three to five weeks depending on page count: 3 weeks for up to 5 pages, 4 for up to 8, 5 for up to 12. You see the homepage direction inside the first week.

What happens to our Webflow plan?

Keep it until the new site is live and verified, usually a few days after launch. Then cancel the site plan; Framer hosts the new site and you pay Framer’s plan directly.

Can our team edit the Framer site without a developer?

Yes. Every migration ends with tutorial videos recorded for your specific site, and the Framer project is transferred to your account. If you would rather never think about it, the monthly design team plan is $3,800 a month.

Do you also migrate from WordPress and Squarespace?

Yes, on the same tiers. The Framer migration page covers all three.

Talk to the person who will do the work

No sales team. You book a 30-minute call with Oggie, the Official Framer Expert who builds every Plenor site, and leave with a tier, a timeline and a fixed price. Plenor also designs brands, pitch decks and social creative on the same system, if the move is a chance to refresh more than the site.
